Aiming High on Career Day

On April 22nd, 3rd through 5th grade had the chance to participate in our first Annual Career Day.  Students were able to choose three different careers they were interested and attend different sessions so that they could learn more.  Students spent the morning designing buildings, testing water pressure, experimenting with strawberry DNA, talking about sports, meeting with paramedics, participating in courtroom debates and more.  Findley’s first annual Career Day was made possible by the Ms. Dehner, our school counselor, and the many staff members who helped support the cause.  Students walked away from the experience with a better understanding of how they can aim high for their future and work hard to get to where they want to be.
