Findley Honors 200th Anniversary of Star Spangled Banner

Last week, all students at Findley Elementary celebrated the 200th Anniversary of The Star Spangled Banner during our daily Morning Meeting.  Principal Barb Adams introduced the event and Jane Olson, Music Instructor, reminded students about what they had been practicing in Music class regarding etiquette, wording and how to hold your hand.  Bob Williams, Fifth Grade Instructor, worked with North High School to even get the ROTC Color Guard to present the colors making this a very formal and very special event.  Students and staff left with goosebumps and a very special appreciation for our Nation’s Anthem.
