Findley Renovation Update

Findley’s renovation is finally underway!  The construction started over spring break and will continue well into the summer months.  You’ll notice the beginning of the new south addition along with the first steps for resurfacing the main hall’s flooring.  The next actions on the floor won’t continue until school is out in June.  You’ll notice the north side grassy space has machinery in a variety of places to begin the underground boring for the installation of the geothermal wells.

The last three student days will be a 12:20 dismissal allowing teachers to pack and prepare to have the building fully ready for the interior’s renovation starting the immediately after the students are out for the summer.

Findley will definitely look as if we’re ‘under construction’ over the next few months, but the final product will be well worth the less than perfect appearance we’ll have through the end of the year!  If you have any questions about the renovation process please feel free to contact the building principal, Tara Owen, at 242-8407 or tara.owen@dmschools.org.
