The bright lights of Broadway are helping to brighten the education of our students. The Broadway League, the national trade association for the Broadway theater industry, today awarded a grant Des Moines Performing Arts for their work with Cattell, Findley, Harding, Madison and Oak Park schools, the five Turnaround Arts schools at DMPS. Students at 19 elementary schools, including Findley Elementary, will adjust their schedule by 10 minutes this fall. It’s a move that will give bus drivers much needed time to get from school to school.
